There are several things you find on every [paper] starbucks cup.
These things are:
-The Starbucks Logo
-A Warning of The Extreme Temperatures residing within the cup
-Something letting you know what special thing is in that cup
-A Quote, usually called "The Way I See It #[?]"
These are all part of what makes the starbucks cup what it is.
Believe it or not, one of these gave me a revelation.
...not the logo [which the actual company logo not seen on the cups is quite odd]
Whenever a Christian sees something refering to God in a good way in an unlikely place [such as a starbucks cup] he/she is contented, but when he/she sees something demoting God in an unlikely place [as aforementioned] they are not quite thrilled...but who can blame them
what
about
the
others
Do you think that an athiest smiles when they hear of someone who they don't believe in referenced or refered to in a good way?
or
Do you think they enjoy it more to hear of this "God" who for some reason is not important to them being referenced to as something imaginary?
...it's most likely the second
but it's so easy for us to just think about ourselves when we read things and not think, well what if I wasn't Christian, would I maybe actually enjoy this?
I feel like it's not a matter of respect when you give an opinion, it's a matter of letting someone have their own opinion and not being bothered by it. Loving whether you agree with their beliefs or not.
just love.

feel free to leave comments letting me know your opinion on this matter
p.s. if you haven't noticed...i've decided that I will try to stick to revelations and college updates on here
